James Khalif

James Khalif is results-oriented with over 15 years of experience driving growth and innovation across multiple industries. Now specializing in digital asset treasury strategy and decentralized finance (DeFi), James leverages deep expertise in on-chain primitives, tokenomics and risk mitigation to optimize returns. As the Founder and Principal of Tactile Fractal LLC, James develops and implements digital asset investment strategies focusing on  appreciation, yield optimization as well as crafting bespoke DeFi research for clients including ranging from funds to UHNWI. 

Previously, as the first employee and COO of Rico Bank, James secured $20 million in private funding and orchestrated all non-engineering facets of the business including operations, business development, legal and human resources. James also co-founded NK Financial LLC, a cryptocurrency investment firm he stewarded from $350,000 to $7.2 million by structuring a performance-oriented portfolio focused on nascent DeFi opportunities. James was awarded a Yearn Finance Blue Book for his contributions to the YFI decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) and is a distinguished member of the LLAMA DAO.
