About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and talented Software Developer Intern to join our team and work closely with our Lead Software Engineer. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to real projects, not just shadow from the sidelines. You'll get experience across the full stack, working on both the client-facing side of our applications and the backend systems that power them. If you're passionate about clean code, great user experiences, and learning from experienced developers, this is the role for you.

Requirements

Requirements
Technical skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and HTML/CSS
  • Experience with a frontend framework, preferably React
  • Familiarity with backend development using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or similar
  • Working knowledge of Git and version control workflows
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and how to consume or build them
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
Nice to have:
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or other utility-first CSS frameworks
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Vercel
  • A portfolio, personal projects, or GitHub profile demonstrating your work
Other requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to ask questions and learn
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through independently

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web and application features across the full stack
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in collaboration with the lead engineer
  • Build and style responsive frontend interfaces using modern frameworks and best practices

  • Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions
  • Debug issues and implement fixes across frontend and backend systems
  • Contribute ideas and solutions during team discussions and project planning
  • Test and validate features before deployment to ensure quality and performance
